Show Group spotlights its business trasnformation and brand refresh
Entertainment travel specialist Show Group Travel is shining the light on its recent business transformation and a rapid rebound in client activity with a fresh new look for the brand.
Show Group’s 40-year-old clown logo has been retired and replaced with a contemporary spotlight logo, highlighting the broader focus of this market-leading travel brand; investment in resources and new leadership, upgraded and integrated services, and a suite of intuitive new travel tools. This reflects the specialty services of Show Group and the confidence CTM has in delivering a world class solution to its entertainment customers.
CTM acquired Show Group in April 2022 as part of the acquisition of Helloworld Travel Limited’s corporate and entertainment brands. Australian-founded CTM is estimated to be the fourth largest travel management company in the world, with services spanning corporate, events, leisure, wholesale and entertainment travel. Under CTM ownership, Show Group’s customers can look forward to benefiting from CTM’s global buying power, extended servicing capabilities and award-winning travel technologies for greater savings and efficiencies.
CTM’s Global COO, Laura Ruffles said “We see Show Group as an important extension to CTM’s specialist travel portfolio, enabling the business to leverage from CTM’s shared services, resources, technologies and access to global buying power and content for the benefit of our entertainment clients. Show Group is entering an exciting new stage in its long history, emerging from the pandemic stronger and with an elevated focus on service and innovation. The brand refresh really reflects that.”
In May 2022, Show Group implemented a leadership restructure, appointing Tom Clark as Global CEO.
Clark brings extensive entertainment and corporate travel industry experience to the Show Group business and its customers, including a unique blend of industry knowledge, strategic business operations and technology expertise.
“There’s no denying the impact that COVID-19 had on the entertainment industry, and I am excited to see the passion, creativity and commitment of our employees, customers and supplier partners to delivering innovative and effective solutions in often complex and challenging environments”, said Clark. “Our team steps up to that challenge every day, and
we’re proud to be supporting some of the largest performers, bands, productions and tours in Australia.
“There’s never been a better time to work in this industry. We’re busy rebuilding our teams and developing exciting new travel solutions to meet the future needs of our customers.
“While we celebrate our long-standing history and the incredible partnerships we’ve made with customers and suppliers along the way, we’re really excited about what the future holds for the entertainment travel industry and our company, and we’re moving forward with a renewed vision and energy. I believe our modern, sleek new logo and website really epitomise what Show Group stands for today and into the future: simple, seamless and sophisticated travel management for the entertainment industry. We hope the industry loves it as much as we do.”
